The closing ceremony of the Olympics was on February 28 2010 in Vancouver. The closing started with a rock concert in BC Place Stadium. John Furlong and International Olympic Committee President, Jacques Rogge, paid tribute to Alexandre Bilodeau, who is a young athlete in mogul skiing. The announcers handed out all the medals to the winners of the Olympics. LeMay Doan, former speed skater, lit the torch on the cauldron during the closing ceremony. Mime Yves Dagenais performed in the lighting of the torch. The United States team walked through the stadium for being the winner of Olympic medals. Then, the rest of the teams followed. Entertainers for the Olympics performed and danced around lit torch. This performance was one big party with unusual dancing and great staging from the athletes and fans. Lastly, they blew off fireworks outside the stadium to celebrate the ending of the Olympics.
