Hawthorn Middle South

May 18 was Career Day at Hawthorn Middle School South. Because it was a half-day, you went to four careers. To complete the day, we finished with a survey.

What I did: physical therapist- He showed us some really cool demonstrations and taught us about PTs (physical trainers). How many muscles do you have? He answered that too!
software developer- We had a raffle, in which I won a notebook binder. Other prizes included a thermos and a mug. He told us the steps in which he took, what projects he had done, and answered tons of question. It was very interesting!
parks and recreation- We learned about the parks and their purposes, activities, camps, the pool, ect. This was very interesting! They even talked about how they got involved.

Most career day people talked about how long you have to go to college for and what the requirements were, ect.
