Changes From 1st to 7th Grade

Just a little comparison of the changes in an average kid from 1st to 7th grade:

1st grade: afraid of cooties
7th grade: afraid of (Mr. Cameron…JK!)

1st grade: girls like pink
7th grade: guys like pink

1st grade: Barbie and power ranger backpacks
7th grade: totes for girls and Under Armour backpacks for guys

1st grade: Sabrina the Teenage Witch
7th grade: Abercrombie & Fitch

1st grade: really bad grammar.
7th grade: even badder grammar PLUS a tendency to say like and OMG, like, every other, like word!

1st grade: splurges on a Barbie dream house
7th grade: splurges on an originally priced pair of Abercrombie jeans

1st grade: Dr. Seuss
7th grade: Gossip Girl!!!

1st grade: throw tantrums
7th grade: gives hate glares and the silent treatment

1st grade: likes Barney (the purple dinosaur)
7th grade: likes Barney (the department store…well, me at least)

1st grade: hates spinach
7th grade: hates…I still hate spinach.
