His team, the Saints, played really hard against the Colts and made the Super Bowl another great game to remember.

Amazing Win

Northwestern had an amazing win over the Minnesota Gophers on Sunday January 17th 2010. This was a great game to watch it was scout day at Welsh-Ryan arena, there were over 1,000 people cheering for the Cat’s. The Wildcat’s had a small lead at half time 32-31 this meant that they would have to block shots, grab rebounds and score some baskets. Northwestern didn’t do really well with this though Minnesota gained a slight lead but was overtaken by Northwestern.

Middle North

The Northwestern Wildcats football team had an 8-5 season, with notable losses to Syracuse, Michigan State, and Auburn in the Outback Bowl. However, the Wildcats beat the experts when they were predicted to lose by 7, but actually lost by 3. The final score was 38-35. Quarterback Mike Kafka threw around 79 passes and completed around 59 (I don't remember exactly) for 530 yards and 5 interceptions. There were also notable victories against then-No. 4 ranked Iowa, rival Illinois, a last-second win vs. Eastern Michigan, and a 42-14 win over Towson State.

Worthwhile to Watch

By: Kaitin Gramins, Grade Seven
Hawthorn Middle South

If you are not a person who enjoys watching football, I understand. But this game was worthwhile to watch. Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers. Brett Favre back at Lambeau Field. This game was either Aaron Rogers' (the Packers quarterback) chance to excel to greatness, or Brett Favre's chance to prove himself still worthy to the game.
