This year the 8th grade boys basketball team has been awesome. With some of the best 8th grade boys who really know what there doing. I asked Coach Tossey a few questions on how the seasons going so far.
Coach Tossey:
B:How's the season going?
CT:Really well, they're playing hard, and they're great to work with.
B:What's your record?
CT:4-2
B:How has your team improved?
CT:The defense, they understand the defense and they understand the game.
B:What are some of the strengths you have this year that you didn't have last year?(Coach Tossey got stuck on this question)
CT:They are will to learn and are very coachable.
B:What arethe teams you have played so far?
CT:Barrington Prairie, they were undefeated last year and they are very skilled.
B:What is the team you're not looking forward to playing?
CT:We look forward in playing every team even Barrington Prairie. It shows us where were at.
B:Why did you choose to coach to boys basketball?
CT:I coached for 26 years, highschool for 24 years. I always coached boys. I played in high school and in college. I also used to coach high school.
B:Have you coached any other sports?
CT:Girls softball, baseball, and track.
